Quiet pictures of a loud, happy day.

I'm Ellis. I photograph weddings around Sydney with my second shooter, Sam, and a light touch: I'll guide you when it helps and stay out of the way when it doesn't.

Expect honest colour, real moments between the people you love, and a handful of portraits made in twenty unhurried minutes. Most of our couples are married within an hour or two of the city, from Bundeena to Bowral and up into the Blue Mountains.

Check your date below and tell us about the day. We reply within two business days with availability and a time for a short call.

Plan it together

Six weeks out we build your timeline with you: light, travel between locations, family groups and the few photos you can't do without.

Your gallery

A sneak peek within a week, then your full gallery in six. Download it, share it, order prints from it.

Good to know

Do you travel?

Yes. Travel within 60 km of the Sydney CBD is included. Beyond that we charge 90c a kilometre, and for weddings more than three hours away we add one night's accommodation. Interstate and overseas weddings are quoted on request.

When will we get our photos?

A sneak peek of 30 to 40 images within a week, and the full gallery within six weeks. In the busy months of March, April and October it can be closer to eight; we'll tell you up front.

How does the deposit work?

A 30% deposit and a signed agreement hold your date. The balance is due four weeks before the wedding. If you need to move your date, the deposit moves with you once, at no charge.

Who is the second shooter?

Sam, who has worked alongside Ellis for years. While Ellis is with one of you getting ready, Sam is with the other, and during the ceremony we cover two angles at once.

Can we have a printed album?

Yes. Albums are designed by us and printed in Sydney, from A$900 for a 30-page linen album. You can add one any time, even years later.
